Abstract

Display Week 2025 took place in San Jose, CA (12-16 – May).  This year the conference was amazing, with a lot of good papers and an exciting exhibition.

The highlights were three exciting keynote speakers, two related to AI (Microsoft and AMD) and displays future (CEO of AUO).   The luncheon talk was about perception of images in Augmented Reality (AR).  There were 99 oral sessions, mostly in 8 parallel sessions, a huge poster session (~255 posters) of very high quality. The exhibition was big and vivid and showed amazing progress in all areas, micro-LEDs, OLEDs for large panels as well as AR/VR, supportive technologies, testing equipment and much more.  The I-Zone showed very interesting new concepts and technologies. The AI is used for manufacturing and image improvement in several papers. It was a busy and exciting conference.  I will try to summarize it during my talk and show some photos from the exhibition.
