Abstract: The LCD TV association is a global, not-for-profit, marketing trade association formed to help the entire supply chain and retail channel through to the end consumer via various communication tools, research, white papers, press and interviews as well as meetings and standards settings for this multi-billion dollar industry.

Our mission is to: Inform, Promote, Improve, and Connect.

"Inform" the public on the many benefits of LCD technology,

"Promote" the industry and technology via speeches, debates, interviews, PR and even specific topic white papers and research.

"Improve" the product features, functions, and efficiency of new introductions, like our "Green TV" logo'd efforts..

"Connect" the industry supply chain via improved focus and communications, especially via our advisory board meetings and member newsletters, discussions, website links, and events.

Biography: As Chairman and founder of the LCD TV Association, Mr. Berkoff is dedicating his time and energy to informing, promoting, improving and connecting the LCD TV supply chain and their related companies, to help promote a great LCD TV in every room in the house! Previously, Bruce led Enuclia Semiconductor as CEO then Chairman, a fabless semi start-up developing HDTV video processors, and prior to that spent over 6 years in Seoul Korea with LG.Philips LCD, as Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer, leading global product planning, international PR and promotion, and strategic marketing and analysis. Bruce has also held executive-level positions with Philips, UMAX, Radius and SuperMac Technologies. Bruce holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in physics and biophysics from Princeton and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively. He also has display-related patents both granted and pending in the U.S. and China and is known for his many visionary speeches at display and technology related conferences around the globe.
