The Strategy of SID Beijing Chapter for next 5 years is:

Attract new numbers especially young persons to Join SID Beijing Chapter. It is hoped that there will be more than 500 members of SID Beijing Chapter by 2015.
- Set up a platform for Chinese universities, research institutes and display companies to exchange and improve their knowledge. The SID Beijing chapter will organize at least 1 conference every year.
- Organize seminars to train local engineers. The SID Beijing Chapter will invite expert in the field of Display to have a series seminars regarding the hot topics of Display technologies including PDP, LCD, OLED, 3D, E-paper, Laser etc.
- Support the academic affairs organized by SID. The SID Beijing chapter will push its members to attend more conferences and symposiums organized by SID.
