IDMC 2002 to Be
Held at Seoul’s Newly Renovated Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel in
January
December 13
– The Second International Display Manufacturing Conference (IDMC)
will be held January 29-31, 2002 at the newly renovated Sheraton
Walker Hill Hotel and Conference Center in Seoul, Korea. At this
international gathering of display scientists, engineers,
manufacturers, marketers, integrators, users, analysts,
consultants, and investors, all aspects of display manufacturing
will be discussed and evaluated. IDMC 2002 is organized by the
Korean Chapter of the Society for Information Display (SID) and
The Korean Institute of Electrical and Electronic Material
Engineers (KIEEME). The official language of IDMC 2002 is
English.
The technical program will begin
with two keynote addresses:
- Technology Developments in
and Around Mobile Displays by Johan van de Ven, CTO of
Philips Mobile Display Systems
- Future Prospects of Flat
Panel Displays in Korea by Wook Sun, President of
Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology
The remainder of the technical
program will consist of about 130 technical papers, 50 of
which are invited. Among them are:
