EDUCATION

DREXEL UNIVERSITY Philadelphia, PA
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, June 2007 GPA: 3.82/4.0
Master of Science in Electrical (Telecom) Engineering, December 2004
GPA: 3.81/4.0

UNIVERSITY OF MUMBAI Mumbai, India
Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, June 2002

EXPERIENCE

DREXEL UNIVERSITY - RESEARCH FELLOW (Fall 2002 - present)
Demonstrated inkjet printing of carbon nanotubes and ferroelectric polymers. Investigated transport of complex fluids through carbon nanotubes for nanoscale drug delivery devices. Developed a material set to increase resolution of current Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs)
by 300%. Simulated liquid crystal alignment on patterned surfaces using Monte-Carlo algorithms.

DREXEL UNIVERSITY - GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT (Fall 2003 - present)
Courses: Electric Circuits, Logic Circuits, and Nanotechnology.
Designed modules to teach nanotechnology concepts to incoming Freshmen. Organized tutorials to clarify course content. Assisted course professors in designing exams, quizzes, and for grading.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY, Gaithersburg, MD
(Summer 2003)
Developed Monte-Carlo simulations for predicting liquid crystal alignment on patterned substrates. The designed codes can be extended to diverse systems including magnetics, and economics.

DREXEL UNIVERSITY - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (Fall 2002 - Spring 2003)
Solved problems in transaction related to small value purchase orders for departments in all three different campuses of Drexel University.
Assisted in per diem reimbursements for university staff.

H. J. TRADERS - Mumbai, India (summers from 1996 - 2002)
Work allocation spanned a range including understanding the wholesale textile business, textile printing, and collection of payments.
