TITLE Display Systems Engineer
POSITION REPORTS TO R&D Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY
This position will lead the development of optical and electro-optical display systems. This position will also assist the company in business development and product development efforts by providing technical direction in this area of engineering expertise.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop product concepts and proposals.
• Designing, building and testing models and prototypes.
• Transition prototype design to high volume manufacturing.
• Work with customers to define requirements for deliverables.
• Works with engineers and program managers to ensure customer needs are met.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature as assigned.

CONDITIONS AND EQUIPMENT

Working Conditions - Office and Manufacturing floor
Equipment Operation - Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet.

Education:
B.S./M.S. in Optical/Electrical Engineering, Photonics or a related discipline with emphasis in Optical Display Technology and E/O component technology. Specialization in application related experience in designing and prototyping display technology products and systems.

Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of 5-7 years experience.
