DisplaySearch is searching for a highly motivated
individual interested in becoming an analyst in our rapidly
growing international market research and consulting business.
Industry experience and English proficiency are preferred
skill sets, but motivation and interest in the work will also
be important factors for any successful candidate. The
position will require intense learning and will be
challenging, but it is a dynamic, interesting and an important
job in the company with lots of opportunity for long-term
career advancement.
Description:
- Position reports to Charles Annis, DisplaySearch Vice
President of Manufacturing Research.
- Primary Responsibilities under guidance from manager:
- Information exchange with FPD supply chain
companies
Report information to other DisplaySearch analysts
and in DisplaySearch publications
- Research, maintenance and forecast of
DisplaySearch proprietary FPD capacity databases
- Write articles for weekly DisplaySearch Monitor
based on publicly available news and information,
area of expertise, research, DisplaySearch data
and analysis
- Support: Quarterly Supply/Demand and Capital
Spending
- Report, Quarterly Color Filter Report,
Technology Report etc.
- Travel: Mainly local domestic travel to interview FPD
supply chain companies
- Approximately 7 meetings per month
Requirements:
- Business level English
- Daily email in very international company
required
- High level of reading, writing, spoken English
preferred
- Location: Japan preferred, Korea possible
- Understanding in FPD manufacturing industry,
technology, applications
- 3 – 5 years FPD industry experienced preferred
- Highly motivated, desire to learn, creative, ability
to work on own
- High level of Excel proficiency
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher education in
science or social science
