Terry Schmidt
Mr.
Schmidt graduated from the University of Waterloo with a
bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 1972 and has
been active in the display industry at Electrohome since then.
He gained experience in the color television and direct view
monitor divisions before becoming one of the founders of
Electrohome's large screen projection display division. Terry
has served as engineering project leader on several major CRT
and lamp based projection products over the last 25 years at
Electrohome. He holds several projection display patents
including the basic patents on the ACON auto-convergence
system for CRT projectors. Terry's published technical papers
in the display field for SID, IEEE, and SPIE have been well
received.
As an Advanced Development Engineer, Terry
currently performs research and system design on new product
architectures for Electrohome's Projection Display Division.
