Flexible Displays and Organic TFTs
Jin Jang, Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Korea
An introduction to flexible displays will
be given, covering substrates, active matrix, display modes, and
encapsulation. Prototype displays on plastic and metal-foil substrates
will be explained for the understanding of state-of-art technologies.
Issues concerning LTPS, a-Si:H, oxide, and organic TFTs built on
flexible substrates will be explained by using those technologies for
the manufacture of flexible displays.
