The demands on mobile displays are increasing dramatically with new services, such as mobile TV, navigation, and gaming, which cannot be enjoyed fully without adequate display image quality. The tutorial concentrates on display technologies that aim to satisfy the image-quality expectations of the users of mobile multimedia devices.
