Organic light-emitting-diode (OLED) displays are entering into consumer-electronics products. Both passive- and active-matrix display products have emerged from the laboratory into manufacturing. This seminar will cover the status of commercial OLED displays, encompassing the fundamental aspects of materials, device structure, device operation, panel design, and commercial production equipment capabilities and will conclude with a review of the current status of the OLED manufacturing infrastructure.
