1. Provide a venue to keep current practitioners up to date with the
rapid changes in display electronics and components;
2. Provide display engineers with the latest information on the display
interface standards established by VESA;
3. Focus on display products and end-user systems of increased interest
to North America, such as avionics, communications, digital TV, dynamic
signage, instrumentation, medical, point of sale, and projection
displays;
4. Present procedures for selecting the appropriate display device for
specific applications;
5. Presentations on the integration of displays into cost-effective
end-user systems.
The ADEAC Exhibition will include display modules, display electronics
and interfaces, human-machine interface design software, optical
enhancement films, touch systems, backlights and inverters, projection
components, and measurement systems.
ADEAC 2005 will be held in beautiful Portland, Oregon, the center of
display engineering activity in the Pacific Northwest. The active
support of the Oregon Display Systems Consortium, which includes
companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Planar Systems, Intel, 3M Precision
Optics, Clarity Visual Systems, Epson, and ClearView Displays, will give
ADEAC even more of the hands-on real-world utility its organizers
successfully provided last year, earning the praise of both exhibitors
and attendees.
