TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP:
Full membership: Full members have access to all SID content, publications, and receive Information Display magazine by mail.
Associate Membership: Associate members are those who join SID, but are not involved in the display industry. Associate members receive Information Display magazine but are not eligible to hold office or vote in the general election.
Student membership: Student members have access to online content, but do not vote in the general election or receive Information Display magazine by mail. Student members must have a student ID, and can be graduate students, but not post docs, lecturers, or professors.
Shared membership: Some countries have lower cost memberships due to foreign exchange rates. These members are able to vote in the general election, but do not receive Information Display magazine by mail.
Life membership: This membership is available to some long-standing SID members who have retired, but face economic difficulty in paying normal member dues. They have full access to online content, but do not receive Information Display magazine by mail. Please refer to our bylaws for further information, or contact SID HQ for further information.
Unemployed members: This is a discounted membership status available for only one year with no renewal available. This membership class does not receive Information Display magazine by mail.
